Privacy Policy

Artable Ltd (“Artable”, “we”) operates artable.club. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Style-quiz answers and the resulting collector archetype.
  • Collection contents — the artworks you save or mark as acquired.
  • Membership data: Stripe customer ID and subscription status (we never see your card number).
  • Basic technical logs: IP address, browser, timestamps (for security and abuse prevention).

2. Why we use it

  • To run your account and deliver the weekly suggestion.
  • To generate personalised recommendations and reports.
  • To process Curator-tier payments and renewals.
  • To detect fraud and keep the service running.

3. Affiliate links and third-party cookies

When you click a “View artwork” button, you leave Artable for a partner marketplace (Saatchi Art, Singulart, Artfinder, Rise Art, Tappan Collective, 20x200, Anthropologie, Wolf & Badger). That click passes through one of three affiliate networks — Awin, ShareASale, or Refersion — which set a tracking cookie in your browser so the merchant can attribute any resulting purchase to Artable. We receive an anonymous confirmation of the sale (no personal data) and a commission.

You can opt out of affiliate tracking by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or by visiting each network’s opt-out page (Awin, ShareASale, Refersion).

4. Subprocessors

  • Lovable Cloud — application hosting and database.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Curator memberships.
  • Resend — transactional and digest email delivery.
  • OpenAI / Google — AI inference for the Curator chat and report generation. Prompts are sent over TLS and are not used to train external models.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@artable.club. You also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).

6. Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is open, and for up to 12 months after closure for billing and legal reasons. Anonymised analytics may be retained indefinitely.
